To Be Saved

What must I do to be saved?

Lost…without hope

Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God."

Hear the gospel of Christ

Romans 10:17 "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. "

Believe in Christ

John 8:24 " I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He you will die in your sins."

Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.."

Repent of your sins

Luke 13:3 "No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

Acts 17:30 "These times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent."

Confess Jesus Christ

Romans 10:9, 10 "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Acts 8:37 "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

Be immersed in water for the remission of sins

Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."

Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Acts 22:16 "And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord."

Live faithfully

Acts 2:42, 47 "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers….praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."

1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

Revelation 2:10 "Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life."
